# Contributing to Ruby OpenSSL
So you want to write a feature, fix a bug, or otherwise work on OpenSSL.
## Features
Feature development will take place under the [gem source].
Please submit a pull request with your changes. It is also recommended to check
existing [feature requests] on bugs.ruby-lang.org, the existing bug tracker for
Ruby OpenSSL.
## Bugs
If you think you found a bug, file a ticket on the official [issue tracker].
If your bug involves an error OpenSSL produced please include a sample file
that illustrates the problem or link to the repository or gem that is
associated with the bug.
Please include steps to reproduce the issue.
Be sure to check for [known issues] before submitting a new ticket.
There are a number of [unassigned tickets] for openssl that need review,
as always.. Thank you for your contributions!
